MDM POC notes

What we want:

We want to experience or emulate the fresh out of the box experience for the test machines if that's possible. Test KANDJI and MDM_JAMF against all the Use Cases listed in the evaluation sheet.

What we have:

1. We have an ABM (Apple Business Manager) account but we don't have a service provider so if there's a need we will be creating Managed Apple ID manually.

2. Managed Apple ID
   a.People Manager at XXXX
   b. Device Enrollment Manager at XXXX

3. Test machines were deployed to production a long time ago and we will be enrolling them to the ABM through Apple Configurator (Late Enrollment). We don't mind clean wiping/reformatting all of the machines.

4. We want to release the device again from the MDM and ABM once our tests are done.

5. We want to Utilize our NAS and use it as a repository for On-Premises setup, and somehow utilize the Cloud for WFH setup.

Steps

1. Create APN
2. Configure Automated Device Enrollment
3. Add MDM on ABM
4. Enroll test machines through Apple Configurator
